According to the claims by a Yahoo news (Japanese version) article, Apple is going to launch large-screen smartphones this year. The article stated about the launching of new series large sized iPhones with screen sizes around 5.7 inch or more. Thereby, bringing Apple in the league of large screen phablets segment.
Also, these largescreen iPhones will be a unlike series altogether, as 'iPhone 6' is rebuked for the september release.There is an expectation that these phablets will be powered by the current A7 chipset, employed in the iPhone 5S, spurning the rumoured A8 chipset.
Also, there were rumours that Apple will be introducing large screen smartphones along with a 12.9-inch tablet. That Apple was appraising the prospect of stranding the 11-inch MacBook Air with a larger iPad. However, Apple didn't comment on these rumours.
