India's costliest tablet from Samsung

Samsung Galaxy Note Pro

Samsung introduced Galaxy Note Pro tablet, priced at an MRP Rs.65,575/-, which becomes the most expensive Android tablet in India. However, the 128 GB variant of Apple iPad Air stays the costliest tablet in the market with an MRP of Rs. 65,900/-.

The South Korean manufacturer's first professional-style tablet, the Galaxy Note Pro was revealed at the CES (Consumer Electronics Show) this January. A free cover worth Rs. 3,799/- is offered by the company with the device.

The new Galaxy Note Pro sports a 12.2-inch Super LCD screen with 2560x1600 pixel resolution and comes with the S Pen stylus. The company has used its new Magazine UX software on top of Android 4.4 operating in this tablet; the new custom skin displays live information from apps in a tile layout similar to that of Windows 8.

This new tablet is powered by a 1.9GHz octa-core processor and is decked with 3 GB of RAM. The device comes with 32 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded to 64 GB via microSD card. It supports 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 3.0 and infrared as connectivity options.

The Galaxy Note Pro features an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and also hosts a 2MP camera in front. The device is decked by a 9,500mAh battery and is available in black and white colours with faux leather finish.
