On-the-Go (OTG) USB drives for smartphones and tablets have been launched recently by Strontium. These small USB drives have standard USB interface on one end and at the other end is the micro-USB interface which enables direct access from computer or any OTG-supported smartphone or tablet. These drives are presently available in 8–64 GB capacities with 5-year warranty.

As the name On-the-Go (OTG) itself resembles, these drives are capable in transferring files between smartphones, tablets, and computers; play media; or copy files between smartphones/tablets without WiFi or connecting to computer. Like, consumers can copy songs, pictures and movies from computer and play them on their smartphone or tablet when they are on the move. Or they can copy files from one smartphone/tablet to another smartphone/tablet without needing WIFI or connecting to a computer.
OTG drives also serves as storage options for smartphones without microSD card slot.
